Winners #146 - Animals & New DT Introductions

   Hello everyone!

I'm so pleased you stopped by today as I'm excited to introduce to the awesome ladies who will be joining the Design Team in March.

We had an amazing response and loved that so many of you wanted to be part of our DT. In fact we were so delighted that we decided to expand and add four new members to inspire you

Thank you to each and everyone of you that put DT after your name. If you didn't make it this time around we'd love for you to Guest Design with us for a future challenge. Please contact me if you'd like to do this - themaleroomcraftchallenge@gmail.com

So here they are:

Andreja

I am the perfect mix of loving creative mom and meticulous innovative dad who taught me to look at things and situations from at least two points of view. I live on the outskirts of the Barje National park in the heart of Slovenia. My days are full of such and other surprises prepared by my wonderful teenage daughter, a very unique puppy and a wonderful partner who supports my imagination and hobbies. I create always and everywhere, but I prefer to start with white paper and leave my marks on it with various techniques and colors. That's why card making is my happy place.

Maaike

Hi I'm Maaike. I am from the Netherlands via Germany and Italy and I'm a blogger, Youtuber, DT member of Various challenges and brands (past and present). I volunteer at my local community centre and I am crazy about cats, you'll see ;-).No  kids, not married, free as a bird as they say...prob why my cats like me haha. My style is CAS and as such it's not a big step towards masculine cards. I've enjoyed playing along the challenges in the past and I am honoured to be on the DT now to inspire others.

Majda

Creating has been a part of my life since I can remember! Create for yourself, for your family,  your friends and for anyone else who enjoys crafting - it makes me happy and by creating, I constantly grow.
I started making cards at the beginning of 2015 and soon became addicted. The time I spend in my creative corner, using new techniques and participating in new challenges are invaluable to me.
I find inspiration in my family, exploring nature with our dog, traveling, art, poetry, discovering new things with six-year-olds in elementary school and also in solitude.

Steph

Like many crafters I have been creating in one form or another since I was a child but what first captured my heart was cross stitch. It wasn't until I was looking for wedding stationary that I caught the paper crafting bug. I couldn't find anything that I liked so I set about making my own. Since then I have rapidly learnt new techniques, bought far too much stash and spent many a happy hour in my craft room come office. I juggle my love of crafting alongside being a Mum to two very headstrong 5 year old twin girls! I can't think where they get it from...

We're really looking forward to adding their multi talented styles to The Male Room.

And now for the winners of our last challenge Animals.

Winner

Superb colouring of this awesomely quirky and fun image. How real does that dustbin look? Love it!

Congratulations Cornelia!

Please grab your winner's badge from the side bar and contact Jane to find out about a Guest Design spot - themaleroomcraftchallenge@gmail.com

Here are our Honourable Mentions:
 (in order of submission)

Oh my how stunning is this card! That image is perfectly placed and surrounded by the water splash.

Such a beautifully designed and crafted scene and we loved the humour.

The giraffe patterned background really caught our eye as well as the very current sentiment.

Congratulations to you all.
Please grab our Honourable Mention badge to display on your blogs.

Just before I go here's a reminder about our current challenge #147 Steampunk.

You've got loads of time to join in with this challenge - 3rd March is the deadline and that's another two weeks!

Please remember to copy and paste the challenge badge into your post or social media. We want to spread the word about our challenges so it is a requirement we look for when choosing our winners and honourable mentions.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
