Challenge #24 - Theme

Hello.  Time for our new challenge at The Male Room.  For the next two weeks, we like your masculine styled projects to be based on the theme of THANKSGIVING OR THANKS.

Tomorrow, our American friends will be celebrating Thanksgiving and we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving Day.

Our Guest Designer, Vicki of Stamp Smiles, has made a lovely card to celebrate Thanks:

Challenge #23 - Theme

Good morning!  Can you believe it's almost halfway through November?  No, me neither!  But it is time for our new challenge here at The Male Room.  This post goes live on Armistice Day - a time when many countries commemorate the end of the First World War at 11.00am on 11th November 1918.  The day is also known as Poppy Day, and here in the States, is called Veterans Day.  It is a time to remember all those lives lost in the many wars that have happened, and are still happening around the world.

Our theme for the next couple of weeks is to make a male style project with the  theme of REMEMBRANCE OR SYMPATHY.  It's always hard to make a sympathy card, so this prompt may help you create something for you to keep until needed.

Our Guest Designer for November is Vicki of Stamp Smiles, please do visit her blog and leave a comment.  Vicki has opted to create a sympathy card:

Now for some inspiration from the Design Team.  Please do visit our individual blogs and leave a comment - we all like them - thanks!

You have plenty of time to join in with this challenge.  Deadline for submission of your projects is midnight Tuesday 24th November (7.00pm EDT).  Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Winners - Challenge #21 - Theme Halloween

Good morning from an unseasonable warm and sunny Northville, not that I'm complaining at all!!
We had so many fantastic submissions for our Halloween challenge, from 3D projects to ultra CAS cards.  The thumbnail display was just fabulous!  Here are our winners.

Great work Ann!

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

Such a wonderfully detailed mixed media project.
Love the textures, the colours, and
best of all - that fabulous spider.

Super spooky stepper card.
Great papers and lovely embellishments.
Fab spider and web!

And we finish with a reasonably CAS card.
Love the pumpkin paper, the webs peeking out from behind the panel.
And that pumpkin with the googly eyes is just brilliant.

Thank you for playing along - do pick up your badges from our sidebar and display them on your blogs.

Now it's time to remind you about our current challenge.  We have a stash challenge to use up some of that HARDWARE in your stash.  Get out those brads, the eyelets, charms, cogs, and even metal buttons - put them to go use on your projects.  You've got until midnight (GMT) Wednesday 10th November (7.00pm EDT) to play along.
