Winners - Challenge#39 - Theme

Oops! I'm running a bit late again. I was so tired last night that I just didn't get chance to write the post. I'm here with the winners of our Masculine Flowers challenge - you all created fabulous projects and really did make flowers masculine. I have it on good authority that guys quite like to have flowers too! Anyway, the winners are as follows:

So nice to see a tag! Love the grungy, mixed media look.
The colours are just right for a guy card.
The flower is perfect - simple, clean and just fab!

(in order of submission)

Lovely grungy effect on the flowers, and some are metal too!
Great texture and super colours.

The sugar skull works perfectly and shades of blue make is just right!

This is a really fun card - the cow with the flower in her mouth!
Love the clean, simple layout and bold colours.

A simple design with lots of super grungy background stamping.
The simple flower with stud looks super.

Congratulations to all our winners. Please pick up your badges from the sidebar and display them on your blogs.

Before I go, just a quick reminder about our current challenge. We want you to use colours on your masculine projects. You MUST use RED, BLUE and ONE OTHER COLOUR, which must be different not a shade! You've got until midnight Tuesday 2nd August to play along (that's 7.00pm EDT).

Challenge #40 - Colours

Hello! Looks like you all had fun with our last challenge to make flowers masculine. And now it's time for our new challenge here at The Male Room - TMR#40. This time we've gone for a colour challenge. You must use the colours RED and BLUE and one other colour. We're going to be strict here - it's not a shade of red or blue, but a completely different colour. Black, brown, grey, white, silver and gold all count as neutrals. So have fun and be creative with your masculine projects!

Here's some inspiration from the team:

I'm still busy catching up with so much stuff since coming back from our holiday in the UK, and I must apologise that this post with the Stash winners is late. Super colours and lots of buttons!
Fun vintage feel.

This is a super clean, simple and fun card.
The shape is just brilliant!

Thank you ladies, please pick up your badges from the sidebar and display them on your blog.

Finally, you've still got a little time to join in with our current challenge to make flowers masculine - deadline is midnight (BST) tonight - that's 7.00pm EDT!

Winners - Challenge #37 - Theme

First of all, I must apologise that this post is so late. I've been away on holiday in the UK and was planning to write the post last week, but I was poorly!!! So I've not crafted or done the blog admin! Sorry!!

We had so many submissions for our Father's Day challenge - thank you all for taking the time to play along and causing us all a real headache! However, we finally came up with our winners and they are as follows:

We've got joint winners this time - both fab!

This 3D project is just fabulous. Love the gardening theme.
The little die cut tools are just fantastic!

Lovely vintage look to this coffee themed Father's Day card.
Love the tag and gears! Great work.

(in order of submission)

There's so much texture here with the background and all the cogs and gears.
The wall mounted tools are just super!

By far the most clean and simple of our winners this time.
Super image and we like the use of vellum for the greeting.

Another card with lots of die cuts for texture and dimension.
Love farming theme on this Father's Day card. The red tractor is so eye catching!

Congratulations to you all - please pick up your badges from our sidebar and display them on your blogs.  We'll be back soon with the results from our buttons stash challenge.

A quick reminder that our current challenge is to make a masculine style paper craft project that uses flowers and makes them masculine!!  Have fun!

I finally managed to make a card for the current challenge! I think it's quite a fun one too!  Here it is:

Challenge #39 - Theme

Hello! I got back to the States from the rather cool and damp UK summer last Saturday to find that Northville is having a wonderful summer. It's fabulous to be home and see all the gorgeous flowers in the garden. And that brings me nicely to our new challenge here at The Male Room - TMR#39. We want you to use flowers and make them masculine! I guess this could be seen as something of a challenge! Oh yes, it is!!!! Remember you can make any type of paper craft project - card, ATC, tag, scrapbook layout, 3D - it's entirely up to you. But it must be masculine in style and feature FLOWERS.

Here are some inspiration projects from the design team:
