Challenge #145 - Tartan & Plaid

Hello all!

Welcome to the December challenge here at The Male Room.

When I think of masculine Christmas projects tartan or plaid always jump into my head. So that's what this month's challenge is all about - get some tartan or plaid onto your projects please.

But of course they don't have to be Christmas themed at all, just masculine and tartan or plaid.

And just look what our fabulous Guest Designer Jane Willis has created. A real feast of tartan!

Isn't that just the most incredibly inspiring card? Please try to find time to pop over to Jane's blog and tell her how clever she is - HERE.

And of course the the incredibly talented Design Team have worked some tartan magic to inspire you too! Check them all out and be blown away!

We loved this stencilled clock face and how clever to add leaves to mark Autumn phase of the year we're in at the moment. Awesome!

Such fabulous colours, loving the blues and oranges together. We also were bowled over by the design and placement of the different elements. A real masterpiece!

Hello everyone!

Time for a new challenge here at The Male Room and as everyone is beginning to turn their thoughts to Christmas our challenge theme is one closely connected - TOYS.

Now these toys can be for your your little or not so little men and covers a wide range of ideas. So be it traditional toys like bears or train sets or more modern toys like computer games that spring to mind they'll all be good.

We said goodbye to Lise Mariann last month and although we are very sad to see her go we wish her the best of everything for whatever the future holds for her.

The flip side to this is of course that we get to welcome a new DT member who also happens to be our Guest Designer for this new challenge - Shahi

Here's a little introduction:

Hi there, I’m Shahina. Even though my official name is Shahina, I would love you all to call me "Shahi". I'm from the southern part of India, but I have been with my family in the Middle East. That's where I have completed  all my Education. Right now, I'm married and settled down in Dubai with my husband and our little princess. They are definitely my biggest support system. I work as a teacher and run a small business from home too. I tag my products under the brand name "Shahicreationz" . I'm someone who is always looking to share some precious memories with the world through handmade cards and the joy of crafting .

I know you are going to love her wonderful masculine projects and give her a warm welcome.

Here is Shahi's awesome Toy themed project:

And now for the rest of the amazing DT projects:
