Morning all! The year seems to be zipping past again, or maybe it's just me!! Anyway, it does mean that it's time for our new challenge at The Male Room - TMR#54. For the next couple of weeks we have the fun theme of WHEELS for your projects. We're very much looking forward to seeing your projects.
Here's some wheel inspiration (sorry!) from the Design Team:
Good morning everyone! A big thank you to everyone who played along with our Washi Tape challenge - I hope it made a dent in your stash!! We had such fabulous submissions from ultra CAS to many layers. As always, you made it tough to pick our winners, but we managed.
Love the musical theme on this one and super pop of red too!
Many congratulations to all our winners. Please pick up your badges from the sidebar and display them on your blogs.
Before I go, just a quick reminder that we're halfway through our theme challenge - TMR#53 to use NUMBERS on your masculine projects. You've still got plenty of time to join in the fun! Deadline for submission is midnight (GMT) Tuesday 14th February, 7.00pm EDT for those in the States.
Wow, it's February already! Time for our new challenge at The Male Room - TMR#53. This is a nice simple theme. We want to see NUMBERS on your masculine projects. They can be actual numerals or word numbers, stencilled, stamped, die cuts - just have fun with the numbers!
Oops! Running just a bit late with the winners post today. I think you all really enjoyed our Anything Goes challenge; we had 109 wonderful submissions. In fact it was so hard to pick our winners this time, we have JOINT WINNERS:
Really like the effect of using colour blocks on water colour card.
The sentiment really pops against the background. Super!
Thank you all for playing along with our Anything Goes challenge and congratulations. Do pick up your badges from the sidebar and display them on your blogs.
Before I go, there's just time for me to remind you of our current challenge. We're half way through our Washi Tape challenge - TMR#52. I'm sure that, like me, you have got lots of washi tape in your stash. Well, we want to see you use it on your masculine style projects. Go wild, be creative and have fun! You've got until midnight Tuesday 31st January (7.00pm EDT) to join the fun.
Hi! We're back with our new challenge at The Male Room - TMR#52. I'm sure that like me you have many rolls of Washi tape in your stash. Our challenge for the next couple of weeks is really simple. Create your masculine projects using up some of your Washi stash!
Check out the ways our Design Team used Washi tape in their projects:
We had an almost record number of entries for our Christmas/December Celebrations/Winter Wishes challenge. The thumbnail display looked absolutely super. I must apologise again for the confusion with the closing date for the Linky - so sorry. It's been really tough to pick our winners, but we did it and they are:
I must apologise to everyone - I set the closing date for the last challenge linky earlier than stated in the post! So sorry! It'll be okay for this challenge.
Many crafters find it difficult to create cards or projects for the men in our lives - both young and old. So, the aim of our challenges here at The Male Room are to help and inspire you with your masculine projects. We like to see all types of paper craft projects from cards, tags, 3D creations, scrapbook layout and even art journal pages and canvases. Our only condition is that your creations are masculine in style and follow the theme, colours, technique or stash of the particular challenge.
With all that in mind, it's time for our first challenge of the year and, after the very busy holiday period that has just passed, we've decided to keep it nice and simple. We have an ANYTHING GOEStheme for you.
