Hello!  Sorry this post is much later than planned!  I completely forgot to write it up. There were some wonderful submissions for our Remembrance/Sympathy theme, but we can only pick a few.  So here are the winners:

We really like the rich colours in the sponged background and the soft glow in the sun.

Love the reeds in the foreground.  Super simple sentiment.

And now it's time to remind you about our current challenge.  This one is fun, the theme is Thanks/Thanksgiving.  Obviously Thanksgiving in the US was last week, but we can never have too many cards to thank all those around us - just make sure your project has a masculine feel.

Challenge #23 - Theme

Good morning!  Can you believe it's almost halfway through November?  No, me neither!  But it is time for our new challenge here at The Male Room.  This post goes live on Armistice Day - a time when many countries commemorate the end of the First World War at 11.00am on 11th November 1918.  The day is also known as Poppy Day, and here in the States, is called Veterans Day.  It is a time to remember all those lives lost in the many wars that have happened, and are still happening around the world.

Our theme for the next couple of weeks is to make a male style project with the  theme of REMEMBRANCE OR SYMPATHY.  It's always hard to make a sympathy card, so this prompt may help you create something for you to keep until needed.
