Challenge #72 - Silhouettes

Have you spotted that we now have a facebook page and an instagram account? Why not click on the links  - on the right hand sidebar - and follow us for even more access to The Male Room news and inspiration.

Would you like to Guest Design at The Male Room? Well we'll pick one random follower from our instagram feed to join us in a future challenge. So don't delay get clicking on that link and follow us.

Today we've our new DT introductions to share with you too.

Thank you to everyone who responded to our DT call, we were delighted that so many of you wanted to join us. Hard decisions had to be made and we hate to disappoint people. So as a way of a thank you we'd like to invite any of you who didn't make it on to the DT to Guest Design with us on a future challenge. Please contact Jane if you'd like to take up this offer - themaleroomcraftchallenge@gmail.com

So without further ado here are our new and very talented DT members:

I'm Cathy from Williamstown WV in the good ol' USA! I love mixed media & all things steampunk, industrial, grungy & vintage - BUT I can do soft, romantic, modern, & anything in between. I use anything & everything - nothing gets wasted!

I'm Charlotte a.k.a Lady Joyful. I'm a Brit living in Finland with my husband and our three cats. I am a nanny to two little boys, and when I'm not working I spend most of my time card making! I started at the beginning of last year and quickly became addicted. I still consider myself a newbie with a developing style, but I lean towards CAS. I've recently started exploring doing a bit more drawing and scene building on my cards too - it's a work in progress!

I'm Chris, and I live on the beautiful Sapphire Coast of south eastern Australia, with my homeschooled son and our four cats.  I am a musician, I play and teach a variety of instruments, and love sharing music with others.  I also love crafting, not just cardmaking, but also scrapbooking, crochet, and art journalling.

Monika
Hi, I am Monika.

Paper crafting, especially card making, has been a passion of mine since I decided one year to make my own Christmas cards. Far from it being a one off event it has lasted for more than 10 years now.

Whilst at heart I am a stamper, I also love to explore different products and techniques to make cards, boxes, mini books and projects for home décor.

I like to share my skills with others through running crafting classes, sending projects I made to magazines (some of which have been published), entering competitions, blogging and YouTube tutorials of the craft-along nature.

Apart from crafting I love cycling, going for walks and days out in North Wales and watching films in my local cinema. I am married to Nick and live in Oxton on the Wirral, UK.

And finally on to the new challenge! We've a really current and popular theme for you over the next fortnight and we can't wait to see what you create.

We have the amazing Tracie from Tracie Pond Designs joining us as a Guest Designer for this challenge. Go check out her blog and lap up all the kindness she always exudes. She'll be over the moon if you leave her a lovely comment.

And here are our DT projects to inspire you and help kickstart your creativity. We hope you'll come visit our blogs and maybe leave us a little love too.
