Challenge #70 - Theme

Would you like to be part of the SPECtacular Male Room Design Team?

Well our DT Call is still open so if you'd like to be considered simply create a project - card, scrapbook page, tag, art journal page, ATC, canvas or 3D -  for this new challenge and add DT after your name when you link up.

Now on to the new challenge. We're giving you one of your favourite themes for the next fortnight - Anything Goes! But if you're in the mood for more of a challenge then just add in the option of TECHNOLOGY.


We have the fabulous Maaike joining us as a Guest Designer for this challenge.  I'm totally in awe of her talent and she has the most amazing blog - cardsbymaaike.blogspot.co.uk - so worth a visit, you'll be so inspired.  Here's her stunning card:


All the DT have also been busy creating and have wonderful projects to share with you and get your creative juices flowing.

You have until midnight (BST) Tuesday 10th October, that's 7.00pm EDT in the States, to link up your projects. Can't wait to see what you create!


DT Call Info 
1. You will need to have a blog.
2. You will need to have time to create a project and submit it on time for each fortnightly challenge.
3. Your project will need to be suitable both for a male and match the challenge theme.
4. You will be assigned a column from the link ups and need to have the time to leave positive comments about player's projects.
5. You will be involved in voting to help pick the winner and honourable mentions for each challenge.

If you'd like to be considered simply make a project for this challenge and add DT after your name when you link up.
The DT Call will remain open until the end of this challenge on 10th October. All successful applicants will be notified by 18th October at the latest. We're aiming to introduce the new DT on the challenge that starts 25th October.

Winners - Challenge#68 - Theme

Hello all! Our thumbnail display for the School Colours theme was full of primary colours and so many really creative projects. As always, you've made our job to pick a winner really tough, but we did it.

These colours are from Manchester University - Blue, Purple and Gold.
They work perfectly for the coffee theme card - nicely done!

This is such a cute good luck card for school. Marina used the colours of her son's primary school.
Lovely texture on the card and the chalkboard letters are just fab!



Margot used the colours from Queen Margaret's School - Yellow, Red and Green.
They are just right for this fun ssssnake!



Bold navy and red are the colours of the University of Arizona.
Really like the image and all that embossed texture.

Winners - Challenge#67 - Theme

Hello! It's time to announce the winners of our Drinks theme challenge - TMR#67. You covered all types of drink from coffee, through beer, to wine and cocktails! Great work everyone.

Challenge #68 - Theme

Hello! We have three Wednesdays this month, so you have a bonus challenge!! As we're coming to the end of summer break, and thoughts are turning to the new school year, we thought we'd base our new challenge at The Male Room - TMR#68 on school colours. So, use school/college/university colours for your masculine style projects.

Winners - Challenge#66 - Theme

Good morning! I've finally manged to get back on schedule. I'm here to announce the winners of our Maps/Coordinates theme - TMR#66. You guys really are very creative and the thumbnail display was super, making our job quite hard! However, we have the winners, and they are:

Winners - Challenge #63 - Theme

Good morning! I'm running a bit late with this post - so sorry! The thumbnail display for our Fireworks challenge was really fab. Without further ado, there are the winners:

Challenge #64 - Theme

Hello! Welcome to The Male Room where we create masculine themed projects. You can make any type of paper craft projects - cards, ATCs, tags, canvases, scrapbook layouts, Project Life, 3D projects - anything, but it must have a masculine theme and be based on our challenge.
