Challenge #103 - Nature

Hi and welcome to our new challenge here at The Male Room.

Before I get on to the challenge I'd like to welcome our new Design Team member Ma-Mi.

Hi! My name is Maja, but because this name is very popular in Slovenia, a small country in central Europe from where I come (as Andreja) I started to use the nickname Ma-Mi, made by the first two letters of my name and surname.

I’m a single mum to 10 years old son and I love spending time with him. We both love long walks, playing volleyball and traveling. I’m a Slovene and Italian language teacher, but whenever I can I go to my room and start crafting.

I'm a creative person since I remember. When I was a preschool child I loved drawing but even more cutting around my drawings with scissors. So, is not strange that my favorite tool is my Big Shot machine. I love making my own embellishments, recycling all kinds of materials and inventing new techniques. My favorite style is CAS.

The most precious crafting moments are when I craft with my son. He's inspiring me very often.

I’m glad to share my work with you.

Ma-Mi has been a long term player at The Male Room and we're absolutely delighted she wanted to join us. I know you will love her projects and leave her some lovely comments!

So on to the new challenge.  We've picked a theme that we hope you'll enjoy and as this challenge coincides with the Chinese New Year it seemed very appropriate. It will be the Year of the Pig, but of course there is no requirement to use either the Chinese New Year or a pig on your masculine projects.

We're welcoming Nance as our Guest Designer for this challenge. Her blog is amazing, do go check it out HERE.
