Challenge #81 - Space/Science

It's time for a new challenge here at The Male Room. And I'm thinking this time it will be quite a fun and easy theme. There's even a choice of subjects to help you along. So it could be space or it could be science or maybe even a combination of both that gets your creative mojo going.

We have a super Guest Designer joining us for this challenge - Lynda from Lynda's Crafty Hall.  She has the most amazing blog with multimedia and vibrantly colourful creations that are an absolute delight. You just have to make time to go pay her a visit!

For her Guest Design spot she couldn't make her mind up which way to go, so she made two cards, one for each of the words in the theme. Both full of colour and totally fabulous!

Science or magic? Her card is a clever blend.

And who could resist this blast of space fantasy with its terrific comic book look.

Of course, The Male Room DT's have also been totally inspired by this theme and have pulled out all the stops to get you fired up and ready to join in.

Challenge #80 - Re-Cycle

Welcome to the new challenge here at The Male Room.

We have a very topical theme for the next fortnight - RE-CYCLE.

We're curious to know what you do with all your left over stash so that could become part of your project, but it could also be anything that has been previously used for crafting or even a use way outside of the crafting world. A few things that jump into my mind are labels from clothes, old receipts, bus or railway tickets, sweet wrappers, paper bags ........

We have Keti from Keti's Projects joining us as our Guest Designer for this challenge and she's used old book pages and kitchen foil for her super layered up card. For more details about how she created her project do go visit her blog - HERE - and leave her some love.

Challenge #79 - Sport/Winter Olympics

Well, the Winter Olympics are well underway now, so what better time to use this as an excuse to craft something sport related. Of course, it doesn't have to be an Olympic sport and it doesn't have to be a card. We love seeing projects in all genres and styles and our only stipulation is that it needs to be suitable for a fella.

Challenge #78 - Inspired by Television

Hello and welcome to the next challenge here at The Male Room.

For the next fortnight, we'd like your projects to be inspired by television. Perhaps you have a favourite programme or series? Perhaps you love to just chill out on a comfy sofa wearing a onesie? Perhaps television means playing games to you? Perhaps an art journal page describing the sort of relationship you have with television? Or maybe the whole idea of a television will inspire a 3D project? Or any other idea that pops into your head.

However, it takes your fancy just ensure it's suitable for a male and you're sorted!
