Challenge #121 - Stay CAS

Hello and welcome!

Before I get on to telling you all about the fantastic new challenge here at The Male Room could I please ask you to kindly display our challenge badge as well as linking back to us on your blogs or instagram when you link up your projects. We've now updated the How To Play tab to include this request. Thank you so much!

So on to that new challenge This time we're sort of going in the opposite direction of our last challenge and we'd like you to stay CAS. So forget those embellishments and layers and added extra bits we usually like to see on your masculine projects.

CAS means clean and simple. So we're looking for clean crisp unfussy masculine projects that would be simple to reproduce. The thinking and planning of a CAS project can often take more time than the making.

Are you up for the challenge? Of course you are!

We're welcoming Sheryl as our Guest Designer for this challenge and she has created a fantastic masculine CAS card to inspire you.

Sheryl has used a simple colour scheme for her card - a great way into the CAS style if this is your first time at trying it.

Challenge #120 - Use Embellishments

Hey!

Time for another challenge here at The Male Room. And for the next fortnight we'd like to see embellishments on your masculine projects. How easy is that? Bet you already use embellishments anyway.

We've the amazingly creative Tenia Nelson joining us as our Guest Designer for this challenge. She always includes washi tape in all her projects, sometimes really obvious other times a bit hidden. See if you can spot it on her card.

A super stylish and awesome contemporary card. And did you spot the washi?

Well I can't promise that The Male Room DT have used washi tape but they certainly know how to make those embellishments catch the eye!

Challenge #119 - Autumn

Hi!

Are the days getting cooler in your part of the world? Are you ready for the beauty of Autumn? Well with apologies to our southern hemisphere players Autumn is the theme for our new challenge.

And if it should be Spring in your part of the world why not embrace the idea of Autumn in September - a bit like Christmas in July!

We've the very talented Joy D'souza joining us as our Guest designer for this challenge. Joy says Autumn is her favourite season and I can see that this is reflected in her amazing card.

Challenge #118 - Flight

Hey!

And welcome to the next challenge here at The Male Room.

After all the birthday celebrations we're now ready to be on the move and take flight.

Remember we accept any genre of paper crafting - cards, layouts, travel notebook pages, art journalling, 3D projects - it just has to be suitable for a male.

Challenge #117 - Our 6th Birthday

And just like that we're 6 years old!

So to celebrate this milestone we're having a bit of a party and inviting you to join in and make us a birthday card.

We're delighted to have Funky Fossil Designs sponsoring our birthday challenge and the winner will be able to choose 3 stencils from their shop. And they have some amazing stencils!
