Winners - Challenge#28 - Theme

Hello, I'm running rather late with this post - busy catching up with stuff at home since getting back from Florida on Monday night!  It was fabulous!  Anyway, it's time to announce the winners and honourable mentions for our Oriental challenge.  Not so many people played along this time, but those who did really rocked it and made it tough for us.  So here are the results:

WINNER

Love the kraft with the blues and green.
Super little origami bird and that watercolour panel with oriental characters is outstanding!

HONOURABLE MENTIONS
(in order of submission)

Shawna has created so much depth on her one layer card.
Love the shadow behind the focal image and the palms are just perfect.

We really like the use of mulberry paper here, adds so much texture.
Great image and beautifully coloured.  Super oriental characters.

The oriental dragon is awesome - love the mixture of shimmer, sparkle and colour.
Lovely layout and great colours.

Congratulations to you all.  Please pick up your badges from the sidebar and display them on your blog.

Before I go, there's still time to join in with our colour challenge.  You can pick any colour for our MONOCHROMATIC theme, just remember that it has to be masculine in style.  Deadline for submission is midnight (GMT) Tuesday 1st March (7.00pm EDT).  Have fun!

Challenge #28 - Theme

Hi and welcome back to The Male Room where we aim to inspire you to create papercraft projects for or about the men in our lives.  Our challenge for the next couple of weeks is ORIENTAL (TMR#28).  We picked this theme as it's the Chinese New Year on 8th February; this year is the Year of the Monkey.  We look forward to seeing your masculine style projects based on an oriental theme.

Now for some inspiration from the design team:

You've plenty of time to play - submission deadline is midnight (GMT) Tuesday 16th February (7.00pm EDT).
